"Merci beaucoup pour votre courrier. J'ai d'abord été surprise par votre mention du test de Rorschach qui a été utilisé depuis les années 50 à des fins de diagnostics, que je n'apprécie pas du tout. Mais alors, après un court instant, j'ai trouvé votre idée très convaincante et je l'ai appréciée. Bien sûr, tous les psychologues ne peuvent pas travailler avec cet "outil" mais pour une personne sensible comme vous, regarder ces peintures ensemble peut permettre un réel contact émotionnel avec la personne souffrante. Si vous demandez seulement ce qu'ils ressentent ou ce qu'ils voient quand ils regardent une peinture ils peuvent venir au contact de leurs propres sentiments d'une façon plus profonde que quand ils parlent seulement de leur enfance et sont bloqués par la peur des parents. Laissez nous savoir si vous avez déjà fait des expériences de ce genre. Aussi, si vous avez une idée de comment nous pourrions suggérer cette façon de travailler à d'autres psys sans devenir la cible d'intérêts commerciaux."

At the first moment I was surprised by your mentioning the Rorschach test that has been used since the fifties for diagnostic aims, which I don't appreciate at all. But then, after a short time, I found your idea very convincing and I like it. Of course, not every psychologist could work with this "tool" but for sensitive people like you regarding these paintings together can enable a real emotional contact with the suffering person. If you only ask what they feel or see when they regard a painting they may come in touch with their own feelings in a much deeper way than when they only talk about their childhoods and are blocked by fears of their parents. If you already have made some experiences of this kind please let us know. Also, if you have any idea about how we could suggest this way of working also to other psychologists without to become a target of commercial interests."
